About Us

Jungle Jack's was founded in 1995 by John Ingwersen in Oceanside, California, approximately 30 miles north of San Diego in one of the best growing climates in the country. In 2001 we acquired a new parcel in nearby Vista, taking our total production area to over 10 acres, including approximately 115,000 sq. ft of shade and greenhouse space. From inception our main goal was to be an innovator in the plant industry, a target we continue to pursue with vigor.

Our list of new or initial commercial introductions spans from palms to plumeria, including:

• Chamaedorea hooperiana 'King Maya'
• Chamaedorea plumosa 'Baby Queen'

We ship nationally, either directly or through the best foliage distributors in the country.
